Terri Clark stands at the top of almost every list of talented female artists regardless of genre. She was the first he first Canadian female to be inducted into the prestigious Grand Ole' Opry, and has been honored with CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominations, as well as a string of hits that includes 'Easy On The Eyes,' 'When Boy Meets Girl,' 'I Wanna Do It All,' 'Poor Poor Pitiful Me' and 'Girls Lie Too.' Clark is the only female solo country performer in more than three years with two #1 singles. She's hit the road with many of her idols like George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Wynonna Judd, Vince Gill and Reba McEntire. She's also been named the Canadian Country Music Association's fan-voted Entertainer of the Year five times. Born August 5, 1968 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada she was raised in Medicine Hat, Alberta. At the age of 18 she moved to Nashville and was brought into the world of country by paying her dues in the hallowed halls of Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. Knowing her career route would probably take her to the stage of the Opry she took the skills she learned at Tootsie's and moved forward. She signed with Mercury Records and reached number three in 1995 with the single 'Better Things to Do', as well as the hits 'When Boy Meets Girl' and a cover of the tune 'Poor Poor Pitiful Me'. She later had a hit in 1998 with the song 'Easy on the Eyes' but didn't seem to have the same career luster as at the start of her recording career. In 2003, she decided she wanted to be back at the top and recorded a top 20 hit 'I Just Wanna Be Mad'. Terri's new CD 'Life Goes On' tells a lot about Terri's journey through the ups and downs of keeping up with life and a hard driving career. She's taken the challenges of her life and given country listeners songs of her reactions to these changes. From start to finish 'Life' shows the span of Terri's talent and range as she goes from slow songs like She Didn't Have Time' to the quicker tunes like 'Damn Right'.
