Country music has no geographic boundary. This can be seen through the styles of artists like Jo Dee Messina (Massachusetts) and Eddie Rabbitt (Brooklyn, New York). It should be no surprise then to see another gifted country talent spring from the fertile ground of New England. Rhonda Lee was born and raised in Woonsocket, RI, not generally thought of as hotbed for country hopefuls. She started singing at the tender age of two, making microphones out of cardboard and tin foil, and singing for anyone who would listen. Later as a member of her school band, she started her musical career playing the drums in local competitions, parades, and concerts.

Rhonda continued to sing throughout her childhood and found herself getting more attached to the sound of country music. She grew up listening to artists like Patsy Cline, Brenda Lee, and Loretta Lynn. Her vocals have a pure original country sound with an incredible strength and character of their own.

When her career first began, she used the alias Brooke Starr. But since moving to Nashville in late 2000, Rhonda has ceased using that stage name. She is now working with Executive Producer Bobbe Seymour and is preparing to record her first album.
A former model in Boston, MA, talent show winner, and finalist for the Miss Vermont Pageant, Rhonda emanates a secure stage presence and star quality. Her ability to connect with a crowd is felt at each and every show as she sings favorites and signs autographs for fans.

Rhonda has been called the "hottest young performer" to come along in a long time. Together with her New England based band, WILD...Wild West, Rhonda has performed in over 40 towns in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, and has won numerous awards and recognition for her talents.
Rhonda was recently awarded the Rising Star Traditional Female Country Vocalist Award in the New Hampshire Country Music Association Talent Search. Her band was also named the Rising Star Band of the Year.

Performing in and around Nashville regularly at clubs like Legends, Tootsie's, Ivorie's, & The Nashville Palace, Rhonda also finds time to sing backup vocals for several artists, does studio/demo work, and is currently collaborating with award winning Male Vocalist Trent Montgomery on a duet! She also makes regular appearances with Nashville Band- Cigars & Cataracts (which includes members Rick Boyer, formerly Mr. Irlene Mandrell!, Master Fiddler Jim Unger, Jack Daniels of Highway 101, and other fine musicians. She says about living in Nashville, "I have never been so surrounded by awesome talent! I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work and play with some of the finest musicians ever!"
Keep an eye out for this up and coming show stopper!
