Louisiana is truly a land of music and mystery. While some might argue about the mystical part of that statement, there is no denying the Bayou State has had more than its share of influence on American and country music. One of their best and finest contributions to the country music scene recently is lovely and talented newcomer Memarie, born and raised in rural Louisiana. Early in her childhood Memarie showed a true talent for singing and a desire to share her talents with the world around her. At the age of 12 she and her family moved to Nashville. True devotion to her career took place after her high school graduation. She took a job as a staff writer at Cupit Music where she wrote and co-wrote several songs including "He'll Never Be A Lawyer" and "Can You Feel It", both for Ken Mellons. Cupit Records not being known for ignoring a great thing when they hear it signed Memarie to a record deal. Look for Memarie's new video 'I Need A Change on GAC and CMT. Also take a look at her website for details on appearances and upcoming announcements for this rising star.
